aniwae, i went to sch, as usual.... but after morning assembly, before the first lesson startd, i left... how cool is that... cos was realli sick of sch... damn sia... lessons oso no prospect one... might as well leave... so i walked out, under the context that im here "only to take the school withdrawal form" apparantly it has already been a proven sucess method. I breezed out of the SR school gate...

went home to change, den out to movies with my dear sis... recenty she becoming very childish... hmm... big baby... aniway, we watched final destination 3... its a good show lah... pls go watch... kids do take note its NC16...

met shermaine, and 3 of us went SAKAE buffet... die die die die die... im feeling so guilty now loh... regret regret... hole in my pocket too... haiz.... no dinner for next 3 days...

DAMN! todae i eventually realise the gravity of the situation im in...

NUS/NTU engineering courses both need a pre-requisite of H2 maths and H2 phy.... dat means i HAVE to take science!!! i found myself so dumb as this information was available to me all along but i CHOSE to ignore it, until it resurfaced today while chatting with hanzong...

but im not too sure if i want a degree in engineering at all... should i put my head in?

hanzong did raise a point that being in the science stream, u are open to most of the courses avail in uni, but being in the arts stream halves that... found that pretty true... should i realli take up sci?

H2physics definately is more taxing than H1physics... but im not too sure im up to it... on top of that, i only have dumb combined sci background... im gonna bite the dust in h2physics...




Mrs Yeo C H told me today that a degree is just at that... it only shows the skills you are capable of and not what u realli noe on the content of ur degree... in simplar terms it mean that having a degree is as good as telling your boss you are capable of learning in-depth and u are linguistically enabled, not much more than that... to specialise in eg. engineering, a degree does not tell much... she oso said that your true path is decided only after u finish ur degree... in summary, she suggests that what degree you take is not that impt, as long as it is related to your interest, specialisation is not needed...

hmm... should i risk it and look towards a degree in architecture(which means i can be in the arts stream)???

my choices:

ARTS - SAJC

SCIENCE - SAJC bt quite unlikely, though they say they accept a range of marks every year so 9 is just an average, 11 may still get me in.... opportunity cost (next best alternative forgone) of SA sci is NYJC sci loh... but dun realli lik that place... hmmmm....

to think i was frustrated yesterday... now i dun even noe i should go arts or science...

btw, the issue mentioned ysd is no longer relevant... AJC is just not my cup of tea... damn what was i thinking??

and as all of you would have known by now... lester chee wants to go SAJC, just like millions others... all the while i hang the words SAJC on my mouth, as though i already have a guaranteed place there... but deep down inside, i noe nth is guaranteed... who doesnt worry? as much as i try to put on a super confident and brave front, lester is a weakling in his heart... he is damn worried bout what he will do if results screw up... lester isnt as confident as he looks...

bet there are some of you who used to laugh at me at my aspirations... all those who gossiped behind my back bout how lofty my target was... i know going to SAJC might sound impossible for a 4/5 guy like me... sumone who doesnt study and play all the time... yet i still choose to carry on confessing my dream...

whatever results i get tmr, i'll accept it, for i know its God's will... but still i would like all u guys to pray for me... lester is still aiming for his eleven points...

'O' Level results on fri... and for the benefit of those who arent attending sch now, here's some info for you:

• Singpass would not be required
• the application period is 6 calendar days after the results, means 10th to 15th feb
• fees are at $7 for one-time application and 10 bucks for any ammedments
• no payment is required until u report to ur (new) sch, whenever that might be...
• postings results are expected on 3rd march
• you have to report to ur secondary sch in ur sec sch uniform at approximately 1400-1430. be properly attired (go get those black sprays dude, and find that collarbadge...)
